Who We Are
For more than 100 years, San Joaquin Community Hospital (SJCH) has been serving Kern County through sharing God's love with our community by providing physical, mental and spiritual healing. It is a big responsibility, and one that is enthusiastically embraced by our caregivers, staff, physicians, organizational leadership and board members.
At San Joaquin Community Hospital, our commitment goes beyond caring for the patients who visit our hospital.
As a community hospital, we believe that we succeed only when our community is vibrant, healthy and whole. That’s why over the years, we’ve been pioneers in bringing Bakersfield and Kern County ground-breaking health care services. Need proof? Just check out our list of community “firsts.”
