Smoke-Free Environment
At San Joaquin Community Hospital (SJCH), we care about the health of our patients, staff and community. That’s just one of the reasons why we created Kern County’s only tobacco-free hospital campus. SJCH employees, patients and visitors are not permitted to smoke while on campus.
If you are a patient admitted to SJCH, please notify your nurse if you use tobacco. This information will be forwarded to your physician, who can make arrangements to provide you with tobacco-cessation products or discuss alternative resources for you.
