Sacred Work Sabbath
In 2010, to honor the hospital's 100-Year Anniversary, the inaugural Sacred Work Sabbath was held at Rabobank Theatre. Last year's event, featuring evangelist Mark Finley, built on that success.
The featured speak for the Third Annual Sacred Work Sabbath is Lonnie Melashenko, vice president for Spiritual Services and Missions at Kettering Health Network and former director-speaker for the Voice of Prophecy. In his role with the Voice of Prophecy, Melashenko's radio broadcast, Exploring the Word, was heard on more than 1000 radio stations and translated into dozens of languages.
Joining Melashenko will be a host of talented musicians, including men's chorus Christian Edition, as well as Jarrod McNaughton and Sandy Johnson. In addition to performances during the morning service, an evening concert will also be held.
Before and after the morning service, hospital staff will provide screenings, giveaways and other health tips in the lobby.
