RN Re-entry Program
San Joaquin Community Hospital's (SJCH) RN Re-entry Program is designed specifically for nurses that have four or more years of hospital experience, but have been out of the health care field for at least four years. This program serves as a refresher to life in today's hospital climate.
The RN Re-entry Program offers:
- Refresher courses
- Hands-on skill labs
- Clinical orientation
In addition to the four-year experience and time parameters, nurses wishing to enter the program will be required to commit to full-time employment (three, 12-hour shifts per week) at SJCH. This commitment allows inactive nurses to transition into a high-paying, flexible profession while providing the hospital with high quality, experienced caregivers.
The RN Re-entry Program is now closed. The application process for the next group will begin on September 23, 2013.
