Children's Immunizations

Overview

Immunizationswebsite

With the support of First 5 Kern, San Joaquin Community Hospital’s Children's Mobile Immunization Program – the only hospital-based program in San Joaquin Valley – strives to make sure every child in Kern County is vaccinated for preventable diseases. Since the program began in the late 1990s, we have vaccinated over 50,000 children in Kern County.

The mobile unit continues to take its services right to the families who need them the most. Free clinics are held at various local shopping centers and community events. There is no payment or insurance requirement, so anyone is eligible to participate. No appointment is necessary, but immunizations cards are required.

Remember to get your child immunized – it's a jungle out there!
