Overview
San Joaquin Community Hospital’s Emergency Department provides around-the-clock services to approximately 50,000 patients every year – many of whom are admitted to the hospital for continued care. As the busiest ER in Kern County, we’ve partnered with CEP America – one of America’s largest providers of emergency department management to provide timely, expert care for our patients throughout Kern county.
Our Emergency Department features:
- The only Nationally Certified Stroke Center and Nationally Accredited Chest Pain Center under the same roof between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
- 22 state-of-the-art patient rooms complete with the latest life-saving technology.
- A specially trained R.N. located in the waiting room for expedited service.
- Ambulatory and a helipad facilities for receiving patients throughout the county.
- Zoll AutoPulse machines to provide safe and efficient CPR.
