Overview
The love for a baby is so special. At San Joaquin Community Hospital’s Maternity Care Center, every birth is special, too. Our caring and dedicated staff recognizes that each family that steps into our hospital has different needs and desires for the big day. This is why we work closely with your family physician, obstetrician, pediatrician and you, so the birth of your child becomes that first moment in a lifetime of “baby love.”
Our Maternity Center features:
- Nine labor and delivery rooms – complete with a couch for the partner.
- 14 recovery rooms, including a crib for the newborn baby.
- Two surgical suites on the unit.
- An infant security system to keep your baby secure.
- Specially trained lactation RNs who visit every patient.
- A nine-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
