Whether you’re recovering from a heart attack, adapting to life with diabetes, or wanting to learn how to cook healthier; The Wellness Center is your comprehensive headquarters for healthy living. In addition to being the only Nationally Certified, hospital-based, Diabetes Education Program in Kern County, we also offer one-on-one nutrition counseling, healthy lifestyle management classes, and cardiac and pulmonary rehab. Our certified educators and nurses are dedicated to helping you put the “well” back into live well.”

The Wellness Center features:

  • Kern County’s only hospital-based diabetes education program.
  • Cardiac rehabilitation – including access to our gym.
  • Pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Healthy lifestyle management classes – including healthy meal planning.
  • One-on-one nutritional counseling.
