What: The 1st Annual San Joaquin Community Hospital Grossman Burn Center Survivor Christmas Party is a joint effort between SJCH, Grossman Burn Centers and the Bakersfield City Fire Department to celebrate the Burn Center’s patients.

When: Sunday, December 13, 2009
             4-5 p.m.

Where: Bakersfield City Fire Station #15
              Located at Deer Peak Ave. and Buena Vista Rd.

Why: In summer of 2009, SJCH and Grossman Burn Centers partnered to bring Kern County its first full-treatment burn center. In it’s first six months of operation, the burn center—which includes outpatient and inpatient services—has already surpassed yearly projections. During this special event, burn center leadership will provide an update of the burn center, and local patients will give testimonies on how the burn center has impacted their lives.
