San Joaquin Community Hospital Hosts Drive-Thru Flu Clinic

What: San Joaquin Community Hospital (SJCH) will host a drive-thru flu clinic to offer seasonal flu shots free of charge to the public. H1N1 and pediatric flu shots will not be available at this time.

When: Sunday, December 20, 2009
             8:00 a.m. until all shots are gone

Where: San Joaquin Community Hospital
Corner of Chester Avenue and 29th Street. To enter the clinic: from H Street, turn east on 28th Street; from 28th Street turn north on Eye Street and east on 29th Street to enter the parking lot.

Why: Flu shots are recommended for people 60 years of age or older as well as those that suffer from chronic illnesses such as lung, heart or kidney disease, asthma, or diabetes. For more information on flu vaccines, please visit: http://www.cdc.gov/Flu/protect/keyfacts.htm.
